Due to a tumour in his mouth, poor Pepone is suffering from one bout of gum disease after another!

1. He has a tumour in his mouth!

Pepone is a three-year-old cat placed in long-term foster care due to a mouth tumour causing him chronic gingivitis. Eating dry food is no longer possible for him.

We administer cortisone injections to him each month to alleviate his discomfort. The progression of his tumour is under continuous monitoring, to determine the next stages of his treatment plan.

2. With canned food, he could regain strength without difficulty

Canned pate could provide Pepone with easily digestible food in spite of his gingivitis.

Such food, being soft and easy to consume, may help to reduce the inflammation in his mouth and provide him with the necessary nutrients without exacerbating his condition.

3. Inflation directly impacts our actions!

Our association, based in Carcassonne, is committed to feeding 250 street cats, in addition to those we have in foster care. With rising prices, regular supermarket food collections no longer cover our needs...

We are seeing a decline in donations received and are faced with the inability to purchase suitable food for the most vulnerable cats, as the cost of food has almost doubled!
